Payroll website
Payers who send returns to Efling have access to the Payers' Website

Payers beware!
Employers who send returns to Efling (and other unions*) have access to the employer website.
On the website you can:
- See submissions that have already been submitted.
- Print out a premium certificate.
- Find employee list.
- Submit new submissions.
How do I get access?
The consent of the proxy holder is required for all new access. Access can be applied for in two ways:
- The proxy holder sends a request: The proxy holder sends an email to
skilagrein@efling.is and specifies who should receive access (name, ID number and email address).
- Accountant/payroll representative sends a request: An accountant can send an email on their own behalf or on behalf of others, but then confirmation from the power of attorney holder must be included as an attachment (eg a signed letter or forwarded email from the power of attorney holder where authorization is granted).
We will then create an account and send a password to the relevant user via email.
Access control
Once the proxy holder has received a password and logged in, they have full control over the company's access. There, they can see an overview of users, change their rights, and add new users directly if needed.
Shared web – Total membership system
Please note that the website is shared by unions that use the Total membership system. You need to register with each union separately (user per company) but only need one password. The employer then has access to all unions on one and the same page.
The unions in question are:
- Power Industry Association
- Aldan Trade Union
- Unit-Activity
- West Iceland Trade Union
- The Hlíf Trade Union
- Food wise
- Icelandic Electrical Industry Federation
- VM – Association of Mechanical Engineers and Metalworkers
- Association of Commercial and Office Workers of Akureyri and Surrounding Areas
- Solidarity union

- Akranes Trade Union
