Purpose and goals of promotion

The Efling union office carries out a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring members' rights, improved conditions and security in the labor market. The company's core activities include protecting the interests of members and providing assistance if there is a suspicion that the law or collective agreements have been violated. The Labor Rights Department is at the forefront of this work and ensures that members enjoy fair and lawful wages.


Member services are the most extensive aspect of the company's operations. The Services Division provides general information, pays out grants and handles various social services, such as paying sick pay and educational grants. A lot of effort has been put into the Education and Social Affairs Division, including holding courses for shop stewards and other educational projects that support members. The Vacation Division handles members' vacation benefits, including the operation of vacation homes, and other related services.


Efling's office is divided into the following divisions:

  • Operations Division – Responsible for the daily operations of the office and supports other divisions in their tasks.

  • Finance Department – ​​Handles accounting-related tasks and receives returns.

  • Service Division – Provides general information and handles the payment of grants and social services.

  • Labor Rights Division – Protects the interests of members and provides assistance regarding rights and collective agreements.

  • Education and Social Affairs Department – ​​Organizes courses and education, supports trustees and works on social projects.

  • Vacation Department – ​​Manages vacation homes and other vacation options for members.
